For a only few days in June we can experience fields of dandelions such as this, seen in the photo below.

At many of the shore areas around the county we can often see a variety of birds such as the Spotted Sandpiper seen below.

The Osprey (official Nova Scotia Bird) is very common around Pictou County, but this one has picked up quite a lunch, which looks to be a Flatfish.
